I already have a mobile blog of sorts originally intended for photo-blogging via my Sony Ericsson K800i aptly named http://iamderricksphotos.blogspot.com. That blog however quickly evolved into a multi-purpose blog for both microblooging via phone and a review blog for some of the gadgets I've accrued.
So I thought it would be good to start a new blog with a name that more acurately reflects what I'm doing blog-wise, and since I already have the screename "mobileobsession" set up in many different places, I thought it would be perfect name for my new blog as well. and so the rest is history. I may re-publish stuff I put in my other blogs, but once I have everything set up the way I need it to be the new posts should start flowing, hopefully soon. =)
